The "Round End" is a bow tie with a rounded tip. There are self-tie bow tie and pre-tied bow tie, and the pre-tied bow tie has the Z-fold type and the double type.
It seems that several historical figures wore this design from the late nineteenth century to the early twentieth century. We found them in a portrait of Antonin Liehmann(1808-1879) who was a teacher of the Czech composer Antonín Dvořák(1841-1904) and a portrait of Italian composer Giacomo Puccini(1858-1924).
It is also published in an American magazine in the 1950s, and it is a design that can be seen occasionally on the web even today.

ラウンドエンド形は、先端が曲線(円形)のデザインです。手結びタイプと作り結びタイプがあります。作り結びタイプは、さらに三つ折式(Threefold-type)と二重式(Double-type)があります。
歴史的に19世紀後半から20世紀初頭にかけて、使用した人物がいたようです。チェコの作曲家「アントニン・ドヴォルザーク(1841-1904)」の師であった、「アントニン・リーマン(1808-1879)」の肖像や、イタリアの作曲家「ジャコモ・プッチーニ(1858-1924)」の肖像などに確認できます。
また、1950年代のアメリカの雑誌にも掲載されていますし、現在でもウェブ上で稀に見かけるデザインです。
