Parallel Bow Knot
This is a common knot in bow ties around the late nineteenth century. It can be realized by tying a Basic-bow-knot while keeping the width so as not to make wrinkles at the center of the knot. It is a way of knotting to make the upper and lower horizontal lines almost parallel when finished.
 
There was probably a tendency to become a parallel shape by nature because it was tied with a straight bow tie at the time. It looks the same as the Ichimonji-musubi-knot of the Japanese kimono, Hakama.
