山結び
Mountain Knot
This is the way to make a mountain shape as its name suggests. The motif of this way of tying comes from the German composer, Richard Wagner [1813-1883]. Since the bowtie-ends hang down at an angle of 45 degrees to both sides, they are in the middle position between Basic-bow-knot tying horizontally and Plain-knot tying vertically.
山結び / マウンテインノット
｢山結び｣は、その名の通り山の形をつくる方法です。ドイツの作曲家ワーグナー[1813-1883]の結び方をモチーフにしています。剣先は両側へ斜め45度に垂れ下がるので、水平方向に結ぶ｢蝶結び｣と、垂直に結ぶ｢下げ結び(プレーンノット)｣との中間の位置になります。
