BOWTIE SPECIMENS offers three collections of Self-tie bow ties. By clicking on the "Go Page" button for each design, you will see the options and characteristics of the design.
1. Authentic series
The Authentic series aims to revive the essence of the self-tie bow tie's design that were general in the later half of the 19th century. Concretely, you can create various tying knots with one bow tie and adjust the width.
1.伝統正統-系列(オーセンティック・シリーズ)
｢1本で様々な結び方ができる｣、｢結ぶ際の幅を調節できる｣といった、19世紀後半の「手結び蝶ネクタイ」の本質的な遊びを追求した復刻的シリーズ。
2. Tradiative series
It is a more advanced self-tie bow tie series that pursues a more creative style while maintaining the traditional aspect. “Tradiative” is a coined term which is a combination of Traditional and Creative.
2.伝統創造-系列(トラディエイティブ・シリーズ)
オーセンティック・シリーズの延長線上にあり、伝統的な側面を残しつつ、より創造的なスタイルを追求した｢新しい手結び蝶ネクタイ｣シリーズ。
3.簡易短寸-系列(イージー＆ショート・シリーズ)
現在一般的に普及していて、手結びならではのシルエットや風合いを、比較的簡単に結んで出せるシリーズ。
3. Easy and Short series
This type is now commonly known and has spread as a new pattern since the 20th century. It is best when you want to quickly materialize a Basic-bow-knot shape and its unique texture.
