The "Long-hands-knot square-end" is the shape of a pre-tied bow tie that imitates a the "Square-end" of the self-tie bow tie tied with a "Long-hands-knot".
This way to knot existed historically, but it was not recognized as a unique way to knot and had no name until now, so it is name was coined a word by the our brand. It named it because it looks like a hand reaching out horizontally.
The "Long-hands-knot" pre-tied bow tie is often found as neckwear for stylish ladies and gentlemen of the Victorian era (1837-1901).
The "Long-hands-knot square-end" shape was popular in the 1940s as a bow tie to match the style known as the "Zoot suit". The trend is thought to have influenced the bow tie designs of the famous British tailor "Tommy Nutter" from the late 1960s onwards.

ロングハンズノット スクエアエンド形は、｢手結び蝶ネクタイ｣のスクエアエンドを、｢手長結び(Long-hands-knot)｣で結んだ状態を模した｢作り結び蝶ネクタイ｣の形です。
この結び方は歴史的に存在していましたが、特有の結び方として認識されず、これまで呼び名がなかったので、当ブランドが造った結び方名称です。水平方向に手を伸ばしたような形から名付けました。
ロングハンズノット形の｢作り結び蝶ネクタイ｣は、ヴィクトリア朝(1837年〜1901年)の洒落た紳士淑女のネックウェアとして、しばしば確認できます。
ロングハンズノット スクエアエンド形は、1940年代にはズート・スーツ(Zoot suit)と呼ばれたスタイルに合わせる、蝶ネクタイとして人気がありました。その流行は1960年代末以降に、英国の有名な仕立て屋｢トミー ナッター｣の蝶ネクタイデザインに影響を与えたと考えられています。
