The "Drop-bow-knot pointed-end" is the shape of a pre-tied bow tie that imitates a the "Pointed-end" of the self-tie bow tie tied with a "drop-bow-knot",and both of its tips of tie hang down like drops.
Historically, Thomas Lipton, the founder of the British tea brand, liked this shape of a bow tie and always wore it. When looking carefully at the portraits of Sir Lipton, it is possible that he tied the "self-tie bow tie'' with a "drop-bow-knot" every time, or he have tied it in the same way and sewed together.
Unless you use a very soft fabric, the tip of the tie will not hang down just by tying the "basic-bow-knot". He might have used some tricks.

ドロップボウノット ポインテッドエンド形は｢手結び蝶ネクタイ｣のポインテッドエンドを、｢垂らし結び｣で結んだ状態を模した｢作り結び蝶ネクタイ｣の形で、剣先が２本とも雫のように垂れ下がっています。
歴史的には、ごく稀に｢作り結び蝶ネクタイ｣としても使用されていたようです。英国の紅茶ブランド創業者であるトーマス・リプトンが、この形を好んで愛用していました。当時の写真を検証する限り、彼は｢手結び蝶ネクタイ｣を毎回｢垂らし結び｣して結んでいたか、同様に結んだ状態のものを縫て固定していた可能性があります。
よほど柔らかい生地を使用しない限り、｢手結び蝶ネクタイ｣を｢蝶結び｣しただけでは、剣先が下に垂れ下がりません。彼は何らかの工夫をしていたのでしょう。
