The Pointed end with a sharp bowtie-tip is a typical shape of a bow tie. Historically, there are several variations with different width, and the impression of the knot varies. Like the design of the eyeglass frame, the impression will look different even if the bow tie end-width changed only 0.5 cm. We propose variations of Pointed end 2cm, 3cm or 4cm width.　　

先端が尖っているポインテッド・エンド形は、蝶ネクタイを代表する形状です。歴史的には様々な幅のタイプが存在し、結んだ時に与える印象も様々です。眼鏡フレームの形と同じで、幅が0.5cm変わるだけでも印象が異なって見えます。ブランドでは、2cm、3cm、4cm幅のタイプを提案しております。　

Pointed End 2cm width

This ultra-narrow width type is a design that can be confirmed often in portraits of the late nineteenth century. The silhouettes of Cross-bow-knot are symbolic, and can produce cool and keen ambience such as in portraits of the philosopher Nietzsche . During the Meiji era of Japan, politicians such as Yajiro Shinagawa and Takayoshi Sekiguchi seemed to like this style.

ポインテッドエンド 2センチ幅

この極細な幅タイプは、しばしば19世紀後半の肖像写真で確認できるデザインです。特に｢交差結び｣の時のシルエットが象徴的で、哲学者ニーチェの肖像などは、クールで鋭敏な雰囲気を醸し出しています。明治期の日本では、政治家の品川弥二郎や関口隆吉などがこのスタイルを好んだようです。

Pointed End 3cm width

This width can be called the Narrow-pointed end, and it can produce a somewhat small and sharp knot. This type can often be confirmed in portraits of the late nineteenth century, and it is the most popular design among BOWTIE SPECIMENS's self-tie bow tie. 

ポインテッドエンド 3センチ幅

この幅は、｢ナローポインテッド エンド｣とも呼べるデザインで、やや小振りでシャープな結び目を演出できます。ブランドの手結び蝶ネクタイの中でも一番人気があります。

Pointed End 4cm width

This type also, can be confirmed often in portraits of the late nineteenth century, and this width is narrower than the 5 to 6 cm width which is generally popular now. It is possible to make moderately sharp knots. It is easy to express the silhouette of the knot.

ポインテッドエンド 4センチ幅

この幅は、現在一般的に普及している5〜6cm幅より細く、程よくシャープな結び目を作ることができます。結び目のシルエットが出しやすいデザインです。
