How to Tie a BowTie 23. Mountain Knot

Mountain Knot

This is the way to make a mountain shape as its name suggests. Historically it is the motif of the way of tying the German composer, Richard Wagner[1813-1883]. Since bowtie-ends hang down at an angle of 45 degrees to both sides, they are in the middle position between Basic-Bow-Knot tying horizontally and Plain-Knot tying vertically.
